How to use the COILPOD bag to clean condenser coils

  1. Slide the bag over the condenser coils.
  2. Tighten the drawstring at the bottom  and seal the VELCRO flaps in back around copper tubing.  Your COILPOD bag is now sealed!
  3. Insert wet/dry vac "blowing" hose into the bag's custom-designed hose port and start blowing out the layers of dust and debris. Alternatively, use a compressed gas cylinder and a standard vacuum.  The clear window lets you see what you are doing.
  4. For best performance, add a second hose to your wet/dry vac and take advantage of the optional 2nd port to suck up the dust right back into your wet/dry vac.
  5.  When you are finished, simply turn off the wet/dry vac, remove the COILPOD dust bag and vacuum up any remaining dust on the floor.
Customer Review: "We absolutely love the [COILPOD dust hood]. It is every thing it is advertised to be. The material used to construct the pod exceeded my expectations. This enables us to clean coils during regular work shifts without the over time expense of making this a night job. Our slowest day is Saturday and our Saturday guy is leaving in two weeks. I won't have to replace him because what he does on Saturday can now be done during the week. Where we had to move several pieces of heavy equipment to clean up behind a blow out no longer happens. If the condenser is in the front and the condensate pan with a float operated heater is in the back you would have to clean out the blown out dust in the pan to prevent wet dust sticking to the float and keeping the heater on, burning the dust creating an emergency call with the burning smell. This no longer happens and no equipment has to be moved. This is a wonderful tool for PM maintenance in restaurants."
